Days Away - Keep Your Voices Down

I made a mix CD for the first time in years. This song by Days Away is one of my favorite tracks on it. I’m a very big fan of simple music, smooth melodies, and vocal performances that I feel capture honesty.

In short, this song really does it for me.

I’ve heard these guys smoke hella weed - so I’m sure that’s an unmeasurable amount of my gravitation towards them.

Yesterday, I was walking across the street, near the U of A, when I a big ass white truck hit me. I was scared shitless. You never realize how scary getting hit by a truck can be, until one almost runs you over.

The guy stopped and asked if I was okay, but immediately took off afterwards. Sucks.

Proud American

This is the trailer for the multi corporation-backed movie made by Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, and American Airlines. I could go on and on about how terrible this trailer is and the enormous amount of unrelateble content this movie probably has (more or less the entire thing) - but I’m sure the trailer will speak novels over myself.

You may find comfort in knowing that it’s weekend opening was only about $120 per screen (roughly 1 or 2 tickets for every showing) and can no longer be found in theaters.

Proud American looks even more unbelievable than this other Kirk Cameron-starring-piece-of-shit known as Fireproof.
