If this actually destroys his career we can conclude 2 things:
1. The media is nothing more than gossiping little girl, with no better intentions than to create some gasps and stir the metaphorical cauldron of shit.
2. The United States is seriously stuck in an archaic, “let’s just go with what we’ve heard”, “I trust my beliefs more than fact”, “I refuse to accept change” state of mind.
I don’t care about Phelps, but to many, he’s a real hero. All this “discovery” tells us is that people who smoke weed can be, and in this case are, incredible people. This guy is one of the greatest athletes our world has ever seen.
Good job Phelps. I’m happy to see some evidence supporting that you just might “get it”.
